The Farwan & Glott 8T8 is an experimental concept racing pod that failed to provide the desired incredible speed increases it was designed for. It doesn't utilize energy binders like most other pod racers, instead placing the pilot in a cockpit between and a little ahead of the engine blocks. The cockpit is attached to strong horizontal struts that keep the two engine pods together, allowing the pilot a better view of the race.
