Independece Amidst Negative Diplomacy
Hacked by: Xanxus Drol, Crimson Dawn
Date: Year 25 Day 16 Location Unknown

Hevvrol Sector, Glom Tho System, Planet Glom Tho - Since day 333 of year 24, the one time Zann Consortium controlled Crimson Dawn has been independent of the government, granted said independence and the territory of the planet Glom Tho as its own after an internal restructuring of the Zann Consortium that also led to independence for other groups such as the Death Watch and Hutt Cartel, as well as the newer Shadow Horde.

Xanxus Drol, the High Priest of Crimson Dawn, a religious based conglomerate, is involved with the planet Glom Tho much like many corporate worlds, where the “company” is involved in everything from power, water and waste management services to emergency services and business large and small. From the Bantha Burger franchise on the corner to the holonet call center, Crimson Dawn's reach is felt everywhere on the planet. There Is however a twist, and that is the religion.

Talk of “TMG” (which stands for The Many Gods) is common across the planet Glom Tho, with sayings and greetings such as “Praise be to Them” and “The Many Gods watch over you” being said commonly by the devout citizens of the world. Religious buildings such as churches and temples and even grand cathedrals are very common sights on the planet, and with the sheer magnitude of deities in the galaxy its no wonder.

“Crimson Dawn has many facets, but our faith is our core” said Xanxus Drol. “Imagine a place where every culture and sentient that can respect other cultures and people, is welcome. If you come in worship only of your god, that is ok, so long as you can respect  that the person next to you may be worshiping a different god. The galaxy is so fractured and divided. In this way we bring many people together as a universal church.”

Despite its new found independence, some groups such as the Mandalore Government, have reinforced black list policies against Crimson Dawn citing it as a criminal organization. “Attempts of diplomacy with Mandalore fell through mostly due to fears on their end of Death Watch, what the Mandalorian Government doesn't understand is that by taking these actions against our people, they simply are causing us to side with Death Watch instead of remaining neutral. As I said to Bukki Werda who handled diplomacy for Mandalore on this occasion ‘what crimes have we committed against you?’ and as usual no one can answer, they talk of Death Watch.” Xanxus said.

“The people of Glom Tho will not be held responsible for the actions of other group, our unique identity will be understood as such” Xanxus continued. “If your wish is to make us an enemy where we easily could have abstained from conflict with you, you have your wish.”

When asked why it was such a big deal, Xanxus explained “Business is diplomacy, when you tell us you don't want our business, you say you don't want to repair and work on relations but instead prefer to worsen relations. You say our credits are no good, and we are no good so why would we want to show you respect? Diplomatically, embargoing our people is unacceptable. It means you want to be an enemy.”

While it remains unclear what threat, if any, the religious group is to the Mandalore Government, it is certain that the people of Glom Tho are not amused by the government's policies. In an effort to curb rising anti-mando sentiment following the embargo, Crimson Dawn put out holo advertising to remind residents of Glom Tho that not all Mandalorians are bad, only the ones running Mandalore.
