A Traitor from within
Hacked by: Jonas Kanuteau, Rebel Alliance
Date: Year 25 Day 341 Location Unknown

On Day 336 Year 25, the Rebel Alliance woke up with the news informing them that Arroh Covah had hijacked a small fleet of reserve fighters. Given the fact that Covah did not secure everything he could, RAI felt his heart wasn't really in it. A warrant was drawn up for the arrest of Covah, and the priority of the fighters was passed down to the  "Assets Protection Team. A few days later, it became clear why Covah's attack was insignificant.   The Director of Rebel Alliance Intelligence and the Supreme Commander of the Rebel Alliance had received intelligence that Lieutenant General Rexan Traner was involved with the recent hijacking of 1,038 ships by the defiler. The exact contents of the information implicating the General are currently classified, but an inside source told the Rebel Broadcasting Service, that the documents named Rexan Traner as the leader of the operation and Covah was  his assistant. Covah's hijacking of the reserve fighters was ,yet again, another sloppy extraction from the terrorist group known as "Son-Tuul Pride" that is alleged to be the starting phase of a bigger assault. This narrative was later confirmed by Marshal Taranjeek O`Cuinn, of Blue Star Dominion who spoke with Covah after the extraction. Covah stated that it would be "redundant" to keep him in the Rebel Alliance and wished them luck.

On day 240, a few days after receiving the intelligence, Director Kanuteau, concealing his presence with the force, executed an arrest warrant for the General. General Traner, shocked by the Director's sudden appearance and the hissing ignition of his lightsaber emitting a white glow, lowered his weapons and was taken into custody without further incident. After he was detained, Director Kanuteau read him his charges and rights, as well as informing his command that he would not be able to perform any of his duties. Chief of Military Operations, Josh Jericho, was heard talking to the Supreme Commander stating “The information about Rexan is most unfortunate as he was a promising Officer and I had hope for him.”

The General leading one of the most prestigious battle groups of the Rebel Alliance and overseeing the Domestic operations of the Rebel Alliance Intelligence Division, was secured in a top secret prison to await trial.

When RBG was able to ask Director Kanuteau for a quote, he said,

"It is never easy to capture a friend who had lost their way. We always hope for the best of everyone in the Rebel Alliance, but there are some who are led astray. We will continue to repel and fight the terroristic pirates, and the Imperial Union, until every being has the ability to have peace."
