A Missive on Peace
Posted by: Xanxus Drol, Crimson Dawn
Date: Year 26 Day 246 Onboard the Modular Taskforce Cruiser [CDC] Patriarch in system Glom Tho (-123, 172).

Across the stars lay connections.

No, not hyper travel lanes or communications relays, but bridges between people and politics that cannot be seen with the naked eye but understood entirely by the mind. Crimson Dawn is committed to forging lasting, peaceful connections and has had the privilege of signing several treaties and pacts for peaceful relations across those stars.

Recently, the Crimson Dawn Government, opened an internal diplomacy department. Previously handled by the High Priest Xanxus Drol directly, these matters of state will be handled by Senior Ambassador Tumise Nivix, also owner of Nivix Inc., a Free Enterprise under the Crimson Dawn’s Free Enterprise Act.

Together, but with some individual latitude, the two have been making deals and agreements for Crimson Dawn that will bring both stability and peace to the Glom Tho area. High Priest Xanxus Drol requested that GTTV2, your local source for news in Glom Tho, run this story and gave the following statement:

“Over the past several months we have moved mountains, oceans, rivers, grasslands and more to make peace with several groups, sometimes with great opposition. We recognize that not all groups are worth having peace with. We cannot please or accommodate everyone.”

“That said, Crimson Dawn is committed to being a neutral state for the Hevvrol Sector and beyond. We wanted to give GTTV2 exclusive access to just some of the diplomatic strides we have made recently!”

Friendships in New Places

The Restored Empire recently signed a “Treaty of Non-Aggression and Friendship" dated Day 193 of Year 26, highlighting both parties' ambition for peace, prosperity and more. “The public wellfare of the people is paramount” Said Xanxus Drol to reporters.

Speaking on behalf of the Imperator, Consul Cataldo Blackstar said, “The Restored Empire is, at its core, a government committed to ordered peace and mutually beneficial agreements to prevent the suffering of sentients, no matter what form they may take. This new agreement between the Restoration and the Crimson Dawn is a good first step towards wider prosperity and peace across our worlds. The Restoration looks forward to doing our part to ensure a strong relationship moving forwards.”

Rebel Trade Bans

Crimson Dawn over the last year has improved relations with the Rebel Alliance, including a verbal Non-Aggression Pact. Peaceful relations recently led the RA to remove Crimson Dawn from its list of enemies and trade embargo’d parties, which allows the citizens of both governments to transact business with one another, enhancing liberty and peaceful relations amongst a large sector of the galaxy.

When contacted by GTTV2 newly elected Supreme Commander Jonas Kanuteau, who worked with Xanxus directly over a year ago to initiate the peace process, had this to say "I hope that one day we can have peace reign throughout the galaxy, with the freedom that comes with it."

Fighting for Reconciliation

Even the Mandalore Government, which in the past stood against Crimson Dawn, has come around, with Mandalore Zachill Desol signing a Non Aggression Pact Day 219 of Year 26. Xanxus, who stood with Zachill, said “The Mandalorian people have always been an adversary born of misunderstanding, we have had a cold war for a while now and I think it pleases everyone that we are thinking for our people's future.”

Mandalore Zachill Desol said "Weapons where weapons belong. For too long, the shadow of mistrust and the specter of conflict have loomed over our nations. We have navigated treacherous waters, armed with the lessons of the past, but recognizing that a new path must be forged for the sake of stability. This non-aggression agreement is not a surrender of our principles, but a pragmatic recognition that dialogue and mutual understanding are needed for growth. Crimson Dawn has proven to be an independent government without ill intent. Therefore we agreed to enter this era of restored relations. "

The Logo

Xanxus made a public announcement recently regarding Crimson Dawn's branding, stating “For as long as Crimson Dawn has been Crimson Dawn, we have attempted to honor our complex heritage. Long, long ago before our independence, we were once a Zann Nationalized organization but are now free to do as we will, granted independence and a government now no less! We once honored our heritage by embedding the Zann logo into the Crimson Dawn logo. Over time, we realized the confusion we were responsible for. The logo has been a source of great animosity and hatred toward us. We as an independent nation amongst the stars no longer live in the shadow others cast upon us, but in our own light!”

“Our ways are different from Zann, we believe in peace, harmony and prosperity. We have never supported merchant killings, piracy, kidnapping, and similar actions. Yet often we stand accused of these crimes. We pay respect where it is due, but we do not always agree with the actions Zann and its other allies take, which is why we don't participate in them and often speak out against them, such as the murder of merchants.”

“We are a neutral state in the galaxy, we have friends all over. Some are good, some are bad in your perception, when they are in our territory, neutrality will be enforced and the welfare of all will be upheld. That is what WE, Crimson Dawn represent and offer the galaxy.”

"A symbol is but a vessel; its meaning flows from the hearts of those who bear it. Let our new emblem reflect the purity of our intent, as desired by The Many Gods." -L33 L00
