A New Opening in the Nam Chorios Daycare
Hacked by: Mador Anami, The Antarian Rangers
Date: Year 26 Day 282 Location Unknown

The Antarian Rangers on Nam Chorios are opening their doors to welcome a new child into their Daycare & Youth Care Program where every child leaves with stories to tell, skills to share, and a Junior Ranger badge to wear proudly.

This special program offers full-time care for young ones with high needs—children who require a little extra support, attention, and stability to grow and thrive. The Rangers have been running the Nam Chorios daycare for several years now, and it has become a place of safety, learning, and warmth for families who need help most.

The opening comes after one of the program’s most high-needs youths successfully transitioned out of daily care and into a new stage of life with extended guardianship. While saying farewell is always bittersweet, it has created room for another child to step into a nurturing environment filled with patience, compassion, and understanding.

At the Nam Chorios daycare, children are cared for by dedicated Rangers who not only keep them safe, but also teach life skills, teamwork, and resilience through everyday play and learning. Activities range from exploring the planet’s beautiful landscapes under the stormlit skies to creative projects like dragon pearl craftwork, story circles, and music. The Rangers work closely with healers and Jedi liaisons to ensure every child receives the support they need.

Daycare Overseer Skarka Trongard shared: “Every child deserves to feel safe, loved, and valued. For many of the young ones we care for, this is the first time they’ve had a place they can truly call home. We are honoured to provide that, and we look forward to welcoming a new member into our little family here.”

The Rangers invite families, guardians, and community members to reach out if they know of a child who could benefit from this care. Space is limited, but the commitment is deep—the Rangers see each child not as a responsibility, but as a part of their family.
