Formerly Known as Crimson Dawn

Glom Tho I — In a historic address delivered to the citizens of Glom Tho I, Glom Tho II, and the many asteroid settlements throughout its territories, High Priest Xanxus Drol announced that the nation formerly known as Crimson Dawn will henceforth be known as The Divine Commonwealth.

The announcement was made only hours before the official change took effect, marking what many officials have described as the beginning of a new chapter in the nation's history.

The following is the official declaration from the High Priest.

A Declaration to the People

To all citizens—faithful or otherwise.

To every Congregant who offers prayer to The Many Gods.

To our friends, our neighbors, and even those who have stood against us.

To every soul who calls our territories home...

I, High Priest Xanxus Drol, make this declaration.

In the coming hours, Crimson Dawn shall be reborn.

Not in purpose.

Not in principle.

But in name.

Our nation has grown beyond what it once was. We have built thriving worlds, protected our citizens, expanded commerce, cared for the sick, and established a society founded upon faith, stewardship, and the public good. The name that carried us through our earliest years has served us faithfully, but it no longer fully represents who we are or what we strive to become.

The decision to adopt a new name was not made lightly. Employees and officials serving throughout the government participated in selecting this new identity from names proposed by our own people. After thoughtful deliberation, one name stood above the rest.

The Divine Commonwealth.

This name reflects the ideals that have always guided us.

A nation united not by conquest, but by common purpose.

A government whose first responsibility is the welfare of its people.

A society bound together by faith in The Many Gods, by mutual prosperity, and by a shared commitment to building a brighter future.

We honor our history without allowing it to define our future. Crimson Dawn was the foundation upon which this nation was built, and its legacy will never be forgotten. Yet names possess meaning, and as we have matured into a sovereign civilization, it has become clear that our identity should reflect the people we have become—not merely the path by which we arrived here.

Therefore, from this day forward, our nation shall be known as The Divine Commonwealth.

Let it also be known that every treaty, contract, agreement, law, and obligation entered into under the name Crimson Dawn shall remain fully recognized and honored. Only our name changes; our word does not.

As for the name Crimson Dawn, we release it with gratitude and respect. It has fulfilled its purpose. Should another choose to bear it in the future, we wish them well.

Today is not the end of our story.

It is the beginning of our next chapter.

May The Many Gods continue to guide our people.

May They bless our Commonwealth.

May They watch over every citizen who calls it home.
