Leader of the Golden Legion

Today, even as an adversary, I acknowledge the passing of First Imperator Hatori Hoorl with respect.

We stood on opposite sides, and our causes were not the same. There were disagreements, conflicts, and battles between those who followed him and those who opposed him. Yet rivalry does not erase the significance of a life, nor does it diminish the mark a leader leaves upon history.

Hatori Hoorl was the first to bear the title of Imperator, and that alone secured his place in the history of his people. Whatever our differences, his determination and influence cannot be denied.

The Golden Legion offers no false praise, but neither will we deny respect to a fallen adversary. Today, we recognize the end of his journey and the legacy he leaves behind.

May his followers remember him, and may history judge him fairly.
