Multiple military and rescue ships from the Crimson Dawn Government almost converged on an asteroid field where an asylum seeker claimed to be under siege by pirates, having been relegated to an escape pod and seeking help.The distress beacon was muffled however, as the would be refugee canceled the SOS call and rescinded their application abruptly. 

“I have never seen anything like it” said an immigration official working for the Crimson Dawn Government who asked not to be named. “Earlier this week a fellow by the name of KesabeyHomes requested asylum and emergency assistance. They claimed to be a Half Cathar half Chiss Mandalorian and asked us to rescue them from the Epod pirates left him stranded in” Said the unnamed official. 

Crimson Dawn was quick to respond, sending a medical response team and several military units, all dispatched from Glom Tho to an asteroid field in the Western Reaches which is about 4 days away. “Our people reacted decisively and in number, but this turned out to be a ‘wild bantha chase’ in the end” said Xanxus Drol, High Priest of Crimson Dawn and founding leader.

Shall Ti, second in command of Crimson Dawn and Boucho of Internal Security, coordinated with allied intelligence sources unveiling a history surrounding Kesabey of espionage for the Galactic Empire. In further talks with Kesabey, Kesabey admitted an interest in espionage work. 

“It's unclear at this time if Kesabey was actively joining us to spy, but what is clear is that a day before we all arrived to rescue Kesabey and deal with the pirates, he abruptly rescinded his request to join us and told us our services (which were offered to help him and without charge) were no longer required. “ Xanxus paused before continuing. “He wasted our time and resources because a better opportunity came along, which then fell through for him, leading Kesabey to apologize and reach out for help anew from Crimson Dawn” Xanxus pauses again before concluding.”We talked about it, as a group, all the responders who had dropped what they were doing in Glom Tho to aide this guy, and as a group we decided he is right where he needs to be, in an escape pod floating aimlessly amongst the asteroids.”

“We don't help the ungrateful, we do not cope well with having our time wasted. We publicize this incident so that other governments and companies in the galaxy avoid or otherwise know what they are getting into with this sentient” Said Shall Ti. “When someone scams, traders have a responsibility to warn each other, in the same way we have a responsibility to warn the public about someone like this!”

Crimson Dawn Authorities have revoked Kesabey Homes probationary citizenship and he is wanted by Crimson Dawn for the Unjust Act of Misuse of Emergency Services (a minor charge) in addition to being under suspicion of Attempted Espionage. Regardless of whether Kesabey is or is not a spy, he clearly took advantage of and wasted the time of numerous people and groups, with reports also surfacing of issues with Mandalore among others.
