In a galaxy full of fear and desperation and fraught with danger, not even governments can protect its citizens any longer. It has become the duty of the individuals to protect themselves. Yet how can one protect themselves from the danger of the galaxy by themselves, alone and powerless to the evils of corruption?

Those courageous sentients would need training, support, equipment, and the security of knowing that their cause was noble and just. Thus an idea was born; an organization dedicated to helping individual sentients to protect themselves from the dangers this galaxy offers every being who treads it.
